Yuxia Zhao is a professor Grade-II Positions of Shandong University, chief physician, Ph.D. supervisor.She was named as outstanding academic leader of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. She also served as deputy director of Cardiovascular Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, member of Chinese Medicine Professional Committee of Shandong Youth Association for Science and Technology, deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese journal of difficult and complicated cases, editorial board of Chinese Journal of Modern Clinical Medicine and deputy director of Shandong Analgesia Society. The research direction is to explore the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. She has undertaken many key research projects, including the National Tenth Five-Year Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province and the Shandong Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and assisted in undertaking seven key and planned research projects, including key clinical projects of the Ministry of Health, and won five awards from the state and Shandong Province. Furthermore, she has undertaken the teaching work of clinical medicine for many times. More than 60 papers published in domestic and foreign periodicals. She instructed 15 postgraduates and 6 doctoral students. She has participated in the first edition of Doppler Echocardiography and Interventional Echocardiography in China.
