He has been a postdoctor of Banting and best research center, University of Toronto in Canada and a visiting scholar of Langone Medical Center of New York University in USA. He is a member of resuscitation group of emergency branch of Chinese medical association, member of cardiac critical care group affiliated with the Association of health exchange and cooperation across the taiwan strait, member of Shandong provincial emergency and critical care committee, and network review expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He is also a specially invited writer of cardiovascular emergency and critical disease column of Chinese Medical Tribune, and editorial board member of undergraduate textbook of Emergency Medicine. He is very proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular emergency and critical illness; especially expert in the application of bedside echocardiography in emergency. He has presided over two general projects of NSFC, participated in two projects of NSFC as the second applicant, one award fund for outstanding young and middle-aged scientists of Shandong Province, one exploration fund for returned overseas students of the Ministry of education, and two projects of Chinese Medical Association. Twelve papers have been published in journals which are cited by Science Citation Index (SCI).
