Summary of Positions, Responsibilities and Research Activities
Dr. Jiali Wang is an emergency physician and clinical researcher concentrated in acute and critical cardiovascular medicine. Currently, she is a Young Experts of Taishan Scholar, Associate Professor, Research Fellow at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. Additionally, she is a member of Chinese Society of Emergency Medicine, Vice President of Youth Group of Chest Pain Society of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, et al. As an emergency cardiologist with the knowledge of epidemiology and statistics, she maintains special interests in exploring potential risk factors/interventions that are related with outcomes of acute and critical cardiovascular diseases. Her clinical research career is centered on evaluation and management of patients with acute chest pain in China. As a general coordinator and research designer, she has devoted most of her energies to Chest Pain registry which is designed to describe the characteristics, diagnosis, management and outcomes for patients experiencing acute chest pain in emergency department, to provide opportunities to improve the emergency care for these patients.
Summary of Awards, Honors and Publications
As an inherently hard-working and self-motivated person, Dr. Jiali Wang has gained a series of awards and personal honors, such as 1st class S&T Progress Award of Chinese Ministry of Education (Fourth author, 2014), 2nd class S&T Progress Award of Chinese Ministry of Education (2nd author, 2017). Dr. Wang obtained full or half scholarship each year during my undergraduate university periods, 3 Kwang-Hua Scholarship during my graduate university periods. She also gained several honors during her working periods, i.e. Distinguished Young Scientists of Qilu Hospital, Young Experts of Taishan Scholars, et al. She has published 20 scientific research papers as the first or corresponding author and a total of more than 50 papers.
