Dr. Zhou is appointed as the deputy chairman of Ophthalmology Committee of the Shandong Medical Association, the standing committee member of Ophthalmology Committee of Shandong Doctor Association, the deputy chairman of Ophthalmology Committee of Shandong Association of Integrative Medicine, and the member of Expert Committee of Shandong Ophthalmology Clinical Quality Control Center. She was the prize-winner of Chinese Ophthalmology Society Award in 2006.

Dr. Zhou has been engaged in ophthalmic clinic for more than 30 years, has a solid foundation in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, especially in the fundus diseases, ocular trauma, and myopia.

Dr. Zhou has published dozens of academic papers, participated in the compilation of many academic monographs, undertaken a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and won several Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards.
