Dr. Zhenying Cheng is a professor of Ophthalmology in Department of Ophthalmology in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. She treats patients with a variety of ophthalmic condition, and has clinical and basic research interest in myopia. She specializes in laser vision correction / refractive surgery (e.g. SMILE, FS-LASIK, LASEK) and correcting myopia in children.

As a clinician educator, Dr. Cheng teaches and mentors medical students and residents at Qilu Medical School in Shandong University. She is a member of Chinese Academy of Ophthalmology.
