Dr. Cui graduated from Fudan University with M.D. and Ph.D. She is a chief physician of Qilu hospital, both professor and master advisor of Shandong University. Dr. Cui worked at Kentucky lion eye center and Doheny eye institute as visiting scholar from 2007 to 2009. Her research in uveitis and diabetic retinopathy has won her first prize of Shandong Science and Technology Advance Prize, and second prize of provincial level for three times. She presided over 4 national and Shandong natural funding. She has written and published more than 60 papers, including more than 20 SCI papers in top journals in ophthalmology such as Journal of Immunology and Investigative Ophthalmology &Visual Science. She is a member of Ophthalmology Fundus Disease Group of Chinese Medical Association, also the member of 11^th Youth Committee of the Chinese Medical Association and the deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Shandong Provincial Medical Association. In view of her outstanding achievements, she was named as Shandong Medical Hygiene and Health Leader in 2019. Dr Cui is mainly engaged in clinical and research work of vitreoretinal diseases. She is good at treatment of retinal detachment, complicated ocular trauma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and intraocular tumor.
