Dr.Li graduated from Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center of Sun Yat-sen University in 2009 with M.D. and Ph.D. degree. He is also a visiting scholar of UCSF in the United States, winner of the first honorary title of "Shandong Young Talents in Ophthalmology". He has engaged in ophthalmology for more than 20 years, especially focused on retinal and viterous diseases, ocular trauma and complex cataracts.

Dr. Li is a member of the Diabetic Retinopathy Group of the Chinese Microcirculation Society, a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Health Care Association, a deputy chairman of the Youth Committee of the Shandong Ophthalmology Association, and a director of the Ophthalmology Branch of Shandong Pain Medicine Association , Vice Chairman of the Vision Rehabilitation Society of Shandong Rehabilitation Medicine Association , Vice Chairman of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Shandong Research Hospital Association, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Laser Medicine Branch of the Shandong Medical Association, presided over and participated in more than ten national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. He has published nearly 20 SCI and core papers, and has trained several graduate students.
