Dr. Shijie Zhang is the director of the department of Orthodontics in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. He visited to the Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan, the Dental College of the University of Connecticut, and the Harvard University Planting and Training Center.

He published more than 40 academic papers, including 15 papers by SCI, and won the third prize of Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award. Undertaken many scientific research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, the scientific and technological research in Shandong Province, the independent innovation of Shandong University, and the major projects in Shandong Province.
