Dr. Tao Sun is good at revealing the pathogenesis of leukemia to guide individual diagnosis from the perspective of molecular biology. He is Founding Member of the Cell Biology Division Committee of the Chinese Union of Translational Medicine, Founding Member of the Medicine Division Standing Committee of the Shandong Big Data Research Association, and Member of Outstanding Young Scholars Division Committee of the Research Hospital Association of Shandong Province. Core Member of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation Team of Young Scholars of Shandong University.

Dr. Tao Sun has presided 5 scientific research projects, the general and youth projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China were included. And he has a disposable scientific research fund of more than 2 million yuan. Five papers were published as the first or corresponding author by him, and the cumulative impact factor was more than 20. In 2018, he was selected as a young expert of Taishan Scholars Program.
