Prof. Chunyan Ji is the vice president of Cheeloo College of Medicine, vice-president and Outstanding Academic Leader of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Second-Grade Professor, and Supervisor of Doctoral Students of Shandong University. Prof Ji is an acknowledged expert in malignant haematology, has devoted to clinical practice and research in this area for years. He has been invited to revise the treatment guidelines of several subtypes of leukemia and lymphoma. He is the principal investigator of 6 National Natural Science Foundation programs and more than 10 provincial research plans. Based on these funds, Prof. Ji has published more than 80 research articles as first-author and corresponding author, 47 of which are published on SCI-documented journals (e.g. Frontiers in Immunology, Carcinogenesis, Br J Haematol and J Hematol Oncol). Due to outstanding scientific achievements and excellent reputation, he is awarded Specially Appointed Expert in Taishan Scholar Scheme, Outstanding Academic Leader of Medical Science in Shandong Province, State Council Expert for Special Allowance and Mid-aged and Young Expert with Remarkable Contributions of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the PRC (NHFPC). He also received several prestigious honors including the second-class prize of technology progression by the Ministry of Education of China and many prizes of technology progression by Shandong provincial government. He also trained more than 50 Master and Doctoral students in medicine and was awarded as Renowned Educator of Shandong University. Besides, Prof. Ji has some academic part-time jobs at present, including Fellow of Haematology Society of Chinese Medical Association, Chief Fellow of Haematology Society of Shandong Medical Association, Deputy Director in Society for haematological Malignancies of Chinese Anti-cancer Association et al.
