Prof. Ming Hou specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of platelet diseases, lymphoma and leukemia. He has long-term basic and clinical investigation of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), and his recent study achievements involve humoral immune and cellular immune mechanism, specific diagnosis, differential diagnosis, translational research, immunologic intervention and targeted therapy of ITP. More than 190 essays have been published, among which 15 have been published on Blood. He was the lead writer of 4 versions of Standardization of the diagnosis and management of adult ITP patients in China and was invited to participate in writing the latest version of International consensus report on the investigation and management of primary immune thrombocytopenia in 2019. He has hosted and participated in several research projects of National 863 Plan, 973 Plan, and the National Natural Science Foundation, etc.
