From 2010 to 2011, Dr. Ding majored in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Mayo Clinic as visiting scientist. Dedicated to the clinical work of critically ill patients, with rich and solid clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients, mainly dedicated to severe infection, septic shock, acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome, intensive nutrition and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. especially specializing in respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation. He has successively presided over one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project of Shandong Natural Science Foundation. He has published over 30 academic papers in "Chest", "Am J Physiol Heart Circ Physiol", "Am J Med Sci" and "Inter Med". As an emergency rescue expert, he has participated in the emergency rescue work for major public health emergencies such as Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 and COVID-19.
