Besides of M.D. and Post doctor in Tumor Immunology, Dr. Wang is also a professor in Shandong University, a Ph.D. advisor, a chief physician in the Department of Geriatric Gastroenterology and the Department of General Practice, a vice director of general practice in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. Meanwhile, she is a vice secretary of General Practice Branch of Chinese Medical Association, a vice chairman of General Practice Branch of Shandong Provincial Medical Association, a member of the standing committee of General Practitioners Branch of Shandong Medical Doctor Association, an AHA (American Heart Association) tutor, a reviewer of World Journal of Gastroenterology and Journal of Shandong University (Medical Edition), an editorial board member of Chinese General Practice. Because of being engaged in general practice, geriatric diseases, and digestive diseases for many years, Professor Wang has an expertise in comprehensive management in general practice, also in the treatment of geriatric digestive diseases, diagnosis and treatment by endoscopy, and rescuing grave patients. She was once awarded with Top 10 Doctors in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and Advanced Individual in Health Care in Shandong Province. Professor Wang’s research field includes Helicobacter pylori infection and chronic atrophic gastritis; diagnosis and treatment of ulcerative colitis; screening and chemoprevention of colorectal cancer; chronic liver disease; nutritional risk assessment and nutritional therapy in geriatrics. She takes charge of several NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China) projects and Natural Foundation projects of Shandong Province. She once won the Third prize of Shandong science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of achievements of colleges and universities in Shandong Province. During recent 5 years, she has published more than 10 papers in SCI journals and Chinese journals. Apart from these, she auxiliarily edited Introduction to General Practice and General Medicine (textbooks of the 13th five-year plan of National Health Commission) and participated in compiling the textbook of Internal Medicine for medical colleges and universities nationwide.
