Dr. Hu Zhensheng graduated from Department of Medicine of Shandong Medical University (now Shandong University Qilu Medical College)in 1984, and in July 1985, he stayed at the Shandong Medical University Affiliated Hospital (now Shandong University Qilu Hospital) to work as a resident and attending physician. In April 1994, the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery was established, and the first deputy director presided over the work of the department. In 1997, he served as the director of the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery. Engaged in cosmetic, plastic and burn surgery for nearly 30 years, he has diagnosed and treated tens of thousands of cases of various degrees of burns, wounds, scars, body surface tumors, organ defects and deformities, and acute and chronic wounds. Especially good at cosmetic plastic surgery, hemangioma treatment, gynecomastia reconstruction, female breast reconstruction, ear and nose reconstruction, complex scar contracture deformity reconstruction, acute and chronic wound repair, diabetic foot treatment. During the work in the hospital, lead the department to better complete the medical education and research tasks. He was named a trade union activist, advanced worker, and outstanding party member and was commended. Has a high reputation among patients and relatives. As a visiting scholar in 2005, he was engaged in burn plastic surgery training at Nebraska State University School of Medicine. In 2007, he won the Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Physician Award of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. Participate in cosmetology, plastic surgery, and burn professional academic exchanges within the province, domestic and international nearly ten times each year. In recent years, he has edited two academic books and written more than ten academic papers. Won one third prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and two third prizes for outstanding scientific research achievements of universities in Shandong Province.
