Yuquan Jiang ,Deputy Director of Department of Neurosurgery; Deputy Director of Teaching and Research Office, Department of Surgery, Qilu Hospital, Shandong University. An expert in the treatment of spine diseases, intracranial tumors,cerebrovascular diseases, functional neurosurgical diseases and craniocerebral trauma. Academic leader of spinal cord surgery in Shandong Province. Professor Jiang has worked in the Department of Neurosurgery for more than 30 years and excels in the diagnosis and treatment of neurosurgical diseases, especially difficult and complicated cases. He has more than 10 research papers published. From 2006, Professor Jiang furthered his study in spinal surgery from professional training courses in Xuanwu hospital, Changzheng Hospital, the Third Hospital of Northern Medicine, AOspine and Snake College in Bangkok and University of Tubingen, Germany, and kept focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of spine diseases. From 2013, Professor Jiang worked on the promotion of neurosurgical spine knowledge all over China, especially in Shandong Province. Professor Jiang has over 350 spinal surgeries and more than 150 other neurosurgical operations per year, all of which obtained satisfactory effect. Until now, he has guided 9 graduate students and assisted in guiding more than 20 PhD candidates and master degree students. Professor Jiang has been in charge of six provincial and ministerial research projects. His research entitled “Surgical treatment of hydrocephalus” and “Diagnosis and treatment of special types of intracranial hematoma” has won the second, third prize of Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award and the third prize of Chinese Medical Association Award.
