He is the director of the Department of Blood Purification and Renal Transplantation. He is now the chairman of Organ Transplantation branch of Shandong Medical Doctor Association, vice chairman of Blood Purification branch of Chinese Biomedical Engineering Society. Professor Tian Jun attaches great importance to scientific research and innovation, and has successively obtained two national patents. He has taken the lead in carrying out CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) technology in the treatment of renal failure and multiple organ failure, blood lipid purification for hyperlipidemia, artificial liver technology for liver failure, and national first blood purification technology for polycythemia vera. He has been engaged in kidney transplantation since 2001, and has completed more than 1500 cases of various types of kidney transplantation. The success rate of operation and the survival rate of allograft after operation all reached the advanced level in China. He presided and participated in 5 provincial scientific research projects. In recent years, more than 30 papers have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals, of which 8 papers are included in SCI. He edited 2 books and participated in the compilation of 7 books. He has won two National Grade II Prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award and one Provincial Grade III Prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award.
