Professor Xianjun Ma is an associate chief technician. He pursued his master's degree at Shandong University, and had worked at Qilu hospital of Shandong University since 1991. He serves as a professor and the director of the department of blood transfusion at Qilu hospital of Shandong University. Professor Ma also serves on various local and international associations of the medical profession and was a member of them. Professor Ma is the chairman of Clinical Blood Transfusion Branch of Shandong Medical Association, and vice-chairman of the first National Autotransfusion Professional Group. Moreover, he is the member of Chinese Society of Clinical Transfusion Medicine, Chinese Society of Blood Transfusion, Shandong Society of Blood Transfusion, Clinical Working Committee of Chinese Society of Blood Transfusion,  Chinese blood management society of cardiothoracic and vascular Anesthesiology，and Ethics Working Committee of Chinese Society of Blood Transfusion, ect. He serves on editorial boards of several international journals, such as Blood and Genomics, Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion, and Journal of Clinical Transfusion and Laboratory Medicine, ect.
 
In recent years, Professor Ma has presided over 4 projects in provincial, and to participate in 2 national and provincial projects as the second person in charge, and won the third prize of Shandong Soft Science (1st). He was awarded a utility model patent of The State Intellectual Property Office (1st), and the provincial-level scientific and technological progress third prize(4th). As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 20 academic papers, 6 of which are included in SCI and EI, and participated in the compilation of 5 professional books on blood transfusion.
