Professional expertise: Diagnosis and treatment of various common diseases, frequently-occurring diseases and difficult diseases of the nervous system, diagnosis and treatment of depression and neuropsychological diseases, especially the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular disease, vascular dementia and senile dementia,
Clinical and scientific research: Published more than 40 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, associate editor and co-edited more than 20 professional books, participated in the compilation of nationally compiled textbooks and training materials for geriatrics and general medicine, participated in a number of national disease guides and consensus. Instructed more than 20 master students and 9 doctoral students.

Currently focus on the clinical and basic research on Alzheimer's disease (senile dementia) and cognitive impairment. Also participated in a number of national and provincial research projects and cooperative projects, undertook and presided over provincial natural fund projects and provincial special research projects.
