From 2006 to 2009, he went to the National Key Discipline of Sun Yat-Sen University for postdoctoral research in the department of endocrinology and metabolism. In 2004, he graduated from Shandong University with a doctorate degree in endocrinology and metabolic diseases. In 1998, he graduated from Shandong Medical University with a master's degree in endocrinology and metabolic diseases. In 1990, he graduated from Shandong Medical University with a bachelor's degree.

He is concurrently serving as a member of the Endocrinology Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics, a member of the Diabetes Branch of the Chinese Society of Chinese Medicine, an executive director of the Endocrinology Branch of the Chinese Society of Chinese Medicine Information, a vice chairman of the Diabetes Professional Committee of the Shandong Society of Integrative Medicine, and an endocrinologist of the Shandong Society of Integrative Medicine Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee, Vice Chairman of the Diabetes Professional Committee of Shandong Geriatrics Association, Vice Chairman of the Senior Chronic Disease Management Committee of Shandong Medical Association, Vice Chairman of Children and Adolescent Health Branch of Shandong Preventive Medicine Association, Endocrinology Branch of Shandong Medical Association Geriatrics Branch Deputy leader of the academic group, member of the Diabetes Branch of the Shandong Medical Association, a distinguished expert from the Academic Degree and Graduate Education Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education, an expert in Journal of Functional Foods and Chinese Medical Journal (English version) reviewers, an assistant to the editor-in-chief of the Chinese International Medical Forum-Diabetes Special Issue. He undertakes teaching work for postgraduates, international students and undergraduates of Shandong University, with excellent teaching evaluation. His research jobs were supported by 7 scientific research projects at the ministry and provincial levels.

He is being engaged in basic and clinical research in the fields of diabetes and its complications, obesity, gynecomastia, adolescent sexual development and stem cell therapy. He won 2 Shandong Science and Technology Progress Awards and participated in editing 4 monographys.
