Dr. Yuxin Chen is a Professor of Surgery at School of Medicine, Shandong University, and Professor of Department of General Surgery at  Qilu Hospital. He is the Deputy Director of the Department of HBP Surgery at  Qilu Hospital and Director of the HBP Surgery Program at  Qilu Hospital. Dr. Yuxin Chen serves on the oncology committee of the Chinese Microcirculation Association as the Vice Chairman, His clinical practices focuses on surgical management of patients with HBP disorders, patients with alimentary tract tumors, and patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. He also sees many patients of hernias，diverticulitis and gastrointestinal stromal (GIST) tumors, and patients with diseases of thyroid-parathyroid, breast and vascular diseases. Dr. Chen performs a high volume of operations - many of which are performed laparoscopically (minimally invasive surgery).
