Dr. Xiaojie Ma is an otologist at Qilu hospital of Shandong University. Her clinical practice focuses on surgery for chronic middle ear disease (including cholesteatoma, tympanosclerosis, and repair of tympanic membrane perforations), cochlear implant, as well as other ear disorders. She has also developed the clinical skills of tanscanal endoscopic ear surgery, offers a minimally invasive option to patient with chronic infection diseases.

Dr. Ma graduated and got her doctor degrees from Shandong University. She engaged in further studies in Eye and ENT Hospital of FUDAN University, and was sent to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, the teaching hospital of Harvard medical school for 18 months, to develop clinical knowledge and involve in basic science research focused on hearing loss. At the same time, she is a young committee member of Chinese Medical Association of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
