Dr. Qian is mainly engaged in the basic and clinical research of head and neck oncology. He has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors including laryngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, cervical esophageal cancer, and thyroid cancer. He is dedicated to the precise and minimally invasive surgical treatment of thyroid cancer and laryngopharyngeal cancer. He is currently the secretary of Speech Branch of Laryngopharyngeal disease of Shandong Rehabilitation Medical Association, and the young member of expert Committee of Head and Neck Branch of Rehabilitation Association of Chinese Anti-cancer Association. He has published more than 10 academic works in domestic and foreign journals. He serves as a principle investigator in a program funded by Jinan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and participates in a number of projects funded by Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Department. He received the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and Shandong Provincial Medical Science and Technology Award. As the deputy editor-in-chief, he published several medical audiovisual materials, such as Supraglottic Hemilaryngectomy and The Application of pectoralis major Tissue Flap in Head and neck Surgery, which were issued by the People’s Medical Electronic Audio-visual Publishing House.
