Shulan Guo has been engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years. She is currently a chief physician and deputy director at the Departments of Dermatology in the Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and a Masters students’ tutor in Shandong University.

Shulan’s clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of various dermatosis and sexually transmitted diseases. Her research expertise is in pathological diagnosis of difficult and complicated skin diseases, which focus on the treatment of allergic skin diseases such as chronic urticaria and atopic dermatitis, connective tissue disease,autoimmune bullous disease, sexually transmitted diseases such as condyloma acuminatum and syphilis, and erythematous scaly diseases such as lichen planus and psoriasis.
