Gynecology of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine Department， adheres to the overall concept of Traditional Chinese medicine and dialectical treatment thought, combined with western medicine diagnosis and treatment technology in  diseases treatment.The academic leader of the department Professor Li Shuling is a famous expert of Traditional Chinese medicine in Shandong Province. When she was young, she was lucky to get a famous TCM veteran Called Xiao Gong, Li Mingtang and Niu Dehui who taught her by deeds and words，and then she developed this department.

 

The department has 6 regular staff, including 1 professor, doctoral supervisor, 2 associate professors and 3 attending physicians.
 
 

The department is characterized by the combination of Traditional Chinese and western medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine and gynecological diseases. Especially good at menstrual disorders, male and female infertility, Postpartum disease, endometriosis, climacteric syndrome, leucorrhea abnormality, white lesion of the vulva, chronic pelvic inflammation, mammary gland disease and treatment and health care of sub-health state. The department also carried out acupuncture and moxibustion, acupoint application, acupoint injection, Chinese medicine enema and other methods to treat gynecological diseases and internal miscellaneous diseases, which highlights the characteristic diagnosis and treatment of TCM. Existing B - type ultrasonic instrument, gynecological infertility treatment instrument, microwave therapy instrument, laser therapy instrument, infrared ray, divine lamp and other equipment.

 

Adhering to the principle of closely combining scientific research with clinical practice and serving for clinical practice, the department has carried out a series of scientific researches on common and difficult diseases in clinical practice and achieved good results. The research achievements won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology once, the third prize of Science and technology Progress of Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology four times, the second prize and the third prize of Excellent scientific research achievements of Shandong Medical University twice, the third prize of Natural science of Shandong Provincial Department of Education once, and the third prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shandong Provincial Department of Education once. At present, the department is still undertaking 7 projects of provincial Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Department of Health and Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
