On the morning of June 1, the Department of Pediatrics held a theme activity of "Chase dreams and set sail" to mark the International Children's Day. Hou Junping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, Cheng Yufeng and Han Hui, Vice Presidents of the hospital, participated in the activity. An Fengling, Secretary of the general branch of the Party Committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Department of Neurology, Dong Laidong, Director of the Outpatient Department, Cao Yingjuan, Director of the Nursing Department, Zhao Cuifen, Director of the Department of Pediatrics, and some medical staff in the department participated in the activity.

During the activity, Hou Junping gave gifts to children, encouraging them to aim high, develop good character, study hard, and do more exercise. President Cheng Yufeng and Han Hui asked parents for their opinions and suggestions about the hospital and gave presents to children. Immersed in the warm and harmonious atmosphere, the activity was well appreciated by parents.

2022 is the decisive year for the construction of China's space station. The theme of this activity derives from "the mother who picks stars" - Wang Yaping from Shandong Province. As China's first female astronaut who ever goes out of space, and stays in orbit for more than 100 days, Wang Yaping is our pride. Nurses from the Department of Pediatrics wore "space suits" on Children’s Day, guarding children's space dreams. We hope every kid will pursue their dreams and have a better future.
