ASGO 2022 7^th International Workshop was held online by Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO) and Chinese Society of Gynecologic Oncology (CSGO) on August 27 - 28. Professor Kong Beihua from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Qilu Hospital was the President of the workshop. More than 5,000 gynecological oncologists join the workshop online.


On the morning of August 27th, the opening ceremony was presided over by the Executive President of the workshop, Professor Xiang Yang of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Professor Kong Beihua delivered a welcome speech on behalf of CSGO. ASGO President, Professor Jae-Weon Kim from Seoul National University, and Wang Dafang, Secretary of the Chinese Medical Association (CMA), delivered speeches on behalf of ASGO and CMA respectively.



Under the theme of "Gynecological Oncology - Opportunities and Challenges in the New Era", the workshop invited authoritative experts and scholars in the field of gynecological oncology from Europe, America and Asia to give academic lectures on the latest progress in basic research, translational medicine research and clinical research on gynecological oncology.

At the meeting, Prof. Kong Beihua and Prof. Song Kun, Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Qilu Hospital gave academic reports respectively, sharing the latest research results in the field of gynecological oncology by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University.

Chinese gynecological oncology experts and scholars took up the largest proportion in the workshop and delivered insightful and informational academic lectures, which was highly praised by the ASGO president and board members. The workshop deepened understanding and academic friendship among gynecological oncologists in Asian countries, and played an important role in improving the standardization of gynecological oncology diagnosis and treatment as well as promoting cooperative research in Asian countries.
