On the morning of September 2, members of the medical team assisting Heze were finally discharged from medical observation, making their triumphant return to Qilu Hospital. The Hospital held a welcome back ceremony for them. Hou Junping, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qilu Hospital attended the ceremony and made a speech. Lin Yajie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, Ji Chunyan, Vice President, and Zhang Xinping, member of the Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department attended the event. Vice President Han Hui hosted the ceremony.

Leaders of the hospital presented bouquets to team members and shook hands with them, giving them a warm welcome.

Hou Junping expressed the sincere greetings and tremendous amount of credit to team members and their families. Hou said that they did not forget their original aspirations, stepping forward when they are needed through pandemic prevention and control work. As the hospital’s third medical team after the aid of Hubei and Shanghai, the 32 team members have inherited and carried forward the excellent quality and spirit of the first two teams’, and effectively achieved the goal of “zero infection, zero death, zero incident, zero compliant, and zero negative public opinion”. Hou Junping pointed out that under the guidance of Healthy China strategy, Qilu Hospital has embarked on a new journey of great reform and development. He hoped that all staff will continue to fine their skills, keep learning, try their best and always be positive, helping writing a glorious chapter in the great cause of building a domestic first-class and internationally renowned high-level research-oriented hospital.



At the ceremony, Xu Zhiyun of the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Leader of the Medical Team, Li Yingxia of the Department of Orthopedic, Nursing Representative of the Heze Medical Team, and Du Jinge of the Department of Hospital Infection Management, member of the Heze Medical Team delivered speeches. They introduced their work in Heze as well as their personal experience and feelings from different perspectives respectively. They said that aiding Heze was a glorious and arduous journey, during which they were touched by the concern from the hospital as well as the solidarity and cooperation from each other. After returning to work, they will uplift the positive spirit, and continue to shoulder their responsibilities in daily work.



More than 50 people, including 32 members of the Heze Medical Team, heads of relevant departments, and secretaries of various Party Branches attended the meeting.
